CURRENTLY
Presently an event TD gets the XML file from the program used to host/score the event. ( BBO, RealBridge, EBUScore, Scorebridge etc.)
The XML file is in USEBIO format.
The TD then eMails the XML file (to MasterPoints @ sbu.org.uk Gordon Milne / Steven Henderson.), who then updates the Mempad database.

Automate the handling of the XML file sent by eMaIL.
HOW - METHOD DEMONSTRATION
A CRON job ( a process that runs automatically at a certain time), has been set up on this site to run every minute.
The process looks for a new eMail (sent to masterpoints @ instart.co.uk ) with attached XML file.
When a new eMail is found, the eMail is read; if an XML file is attached, it is read, and a script updates the table of processed XML files in a test database.

Send an XML file for Pairs, Teams. Individual, Swiss Pairs or Swiss Teams to masterpoints @ instart.co.uk
(Caveat: still in development - avoid attaching multiple XML files).
After 1 or 2 minutes the results of processing the XML file should be available below (refresh this page to see updated results).
LOG FILES
When an eMail with an attached XML file is found, and successfully processed, a log file is created.
(if an error, or no XML file attached, the eMail is forwarded to masterpointsqueries @ instart.co.uk; mimic the live site).
The sample log file shows some SQL that could be run to update other tables in the actual Mempad database.
